For any of you who are heavy haulers or over width -- and you know who you are -- the date will be set for spring weight restrictions in the next week or so. Once in place, restrictions will be enforced for an extended period of time due to the extreme cold weather pushing the frost much deeper in the ground compared to past years. To enroll, just send a request via email to [email protected] Youll receive advance notice of start and end dates to help avoid fines, but mainly to PROTECT OUR ROADS. Info on non-restricted/restricted roads will also be posted on our webpage at gtcrc.org By the way -- we now have beefed up the number of trained, in-house weighmasters and are coordinating our efforts with local law enforcement. Reduce those weights and speeds!
