For any other fellow Ryan Gosling / arthouse film fans, check out The Believer. Feels like a spiritual sequel to American History X, except more ambitious and experimental, and its based on a true story. Quite possibly Goslings best role, plenty of symbolism and a somewhat ethereal soundtrack. Plot concerns a man who was born and raised Jewish, but is a Neo-Nazi, and a Times journalist who exposes this and sends his life spiraling out of control. 8/10. The trailer looks and feels ridiculously dated considering the film came out in the early 2000s, and not the 80s.
