For anyone living in Warwick that would like to hear more about the sewer oversight and accountability issues, you want to listen to this. The revolving door executive directors were all chosen by the Mayor. The Board members are ALL officially appointed by the Mayor as well (@13:44). And the Mayor actually refers (so he was told) to the the sewer authority workers as The Island of Misfit toys @ 25:35. Oh Mr. Mayor, I certainly do do my homework---and will continue to do so. Its one big laughing matter apparently too as you can hear it in the recording. The Mayors logic for paying for mandatory connection is because well, we did the construction (that hundreds of the public at city hall clearly stated they could not afford) so, because we did the construction, you are all going to pay for it whether you like it or not. What difference does it make when that household packs up and leaves and you are left with another home foreclosure and no one paying the bills? Keep blaming the enabling legislation, keep blaming past Mayors, past WSA Executives Mayor that you appointed, keep blaming The Island of Misfit Toys Mr. Mayor---- keep blaming everyone and everything except for YOURSELF.
