For anyone over 45 you may find this story humorous , any one younger may think I am crazy. Back around 1977 or so (dont remember exact year, Michael Szurgot and Michael Beard you may have been on the crew that day) I was working for a Burleson surveying company, we were surveying a vacant field at the corner of Summercrest and Highway 174. While doing our work we struck up a conversation with a man doing some bulldozer work on the property. We asked him if he knew what was going to be built there and he said it is some store called a Wal-Mart. Imagine that, at the time none of us had ever heard of that new store called Wal-Mart. Might have been a good time to buy stock if anyone of us had a clue.
