For anyone who buys and feeds dry dog food to stray dogs: Theres a dog food company that is in the process of changing their brand. They have dog food bags which are very near expiry (by date - but is actually good food). We tried a bit out, and the dogs ate it happily with no problems. Generally expiry dates are put ahead of time. It works out to 100 rupees per kg of dog food. If anyone is interested in getting some economical food to feed strays, let us know. It is only for a short period, after which you may have to go back to buying regular pedigree or whatever other dog food youll feed strays.
