Whether you are mountain biking, running, on the job or just need to keep cool on a hot summer day, just soak your wrap and wear it for a cool that will last beyond 24 hours. 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of these shirts will be donated to Homes for Our Troops who build homes for severely injured Veterans at no cost to them! The PCLP technology is a gel that the garment is filled with. Once soaked in water, the gel solidifies and retains the temperature of the water. The garment is dry to the touch so the only feeling you have is cool to the core. For Military front line use we sell the 100% cotton, which comes in Olive Green and Sand. Each garment has an unlimited number of uses. Stays cool for days. Dry to the touch. Leak-proof design. The response from our military has been inspiring. Sergeant (E-5) Mayo Jenkins, 306th Military Police Battalion sent us the following letter… When I first arrived in Iraq it was winter and cool outside. However as spring approached the temperatures rose quickly. In the summer it was anywhere from 120 to 145 degrees. Some of the vehicles were equipped with ac but they never worked well. Plus, with the uniforms and body armor it could get really hot in there. The armor of the vehicle added to the heat as well. My primary duty was conducting supply convoy missions from Baghdad Airport and around the surrounding areas to my duty station in Abu Ghraib Prison, Iraq. And, at times, that would change to include detainee escort missions. There were two soldiers who I directly rated but others were assigned to me depending on the mission. The dangerous thing about the heat, in addition to dehydration, heat stroke and all the other potential problems of the desert, is that excess heat makes you sluggish and tired, which is a dangerous condition for a solider in a combat zone. When the Core Coolers arrived I thought they might be good for a few minutes, but would evaporate away. I was happily proved wrong the first day. I wore the Core Cooler under my body armor and felt like I had my own personal air conditioner. Convoy duty in Iraq can be hot, tense and exhausting. We were shot at often, and had to protect our detainees in transport. At the end of the day I was usually burnt out and too tired to sleep. But after wearing the Core Cooler all day I felt frosty, more alert, I was even hungry for hot food. And that night I slept really well. After that I wore the CC every mission and shared the spare with who-ever was manning the turret as I wanted that solider to stay sharp.
