For anyone who likes/loves JAZZ, come to the OUTPOST this Saturday at 7:30 pm to hear Douglas Mulligan and friends. The OUTPOST is at 210 YALE SE, that is 2 blocks South of Central. Cost is $15.00 and all proceeds are going to benefit the education fund. Doug is a friend of mine and he is "fronting" this JAZZ performance. All the musicians are professionals (mostly from California) and will include a pianist, saxophone player, flugelhorn, trumpet, an amazing drummer and a clarinet too, I think. Doug has written 3 of the melodies that will be played and it will be the first time he hears his music played by professionals. Mike and I will be there by 7:30 pm Saturday and will welcome anyone who wants to come and join us while we listen to our friend and his musician friends play jazz.
