For anyone wondering....Ive not updated my status in a while because Ive been consumed with the new job. I would be lying if I said I didnt miss my North Laurel kids terribly. But all the people at Liberty Elementary And the Casey County School system have been so welcoming and helpful. It has been a really hard couple of weeks of being homesick and overwhelmed by all the things Im learning but I feel like I turned a corner today and feel like I really can do this. Thank you to everyone for their prayers, phone calls and messages. Im truly humbled by all of it. Just because I wont be living in London anymore doesnt mean that I will not be able to maintain my friendships there. It will just be different. North Laurel Band will always be in my heart. (I would say I still bleed blue and green but that just sounds like I have some kind Id disease that cant be good)
