For as much as I love to cook, I dont have a lot of gadgets. However, I do have a new prized possession, my big plastic onion. No more wrapping half an onion in foil, no more upsetting Susie by putting raw onion in a glass container that has a soft plastic lid. No more. Shaped like a large onion, made of a vaguely oniony color plastic, two halves screw together to neatly store unused onion. Neatly and unmistakably. No more slicing open a new onion to be informed there was half a one in the fridge in foil. (Susie took it out of the container Id put it in. Out of sight out of mind for me.) Now theres no mistaking what is there on the top shelf. I love my big plastic onion. Love it.
