For bureaucratic reasons, one of my patients has required medication be delivered to his nursing home by ME for the past 8 or 9 weeks while the Baltimore City Health Department gets its act together. Last week for stupid reasons relating to a heath dept. series of screw-ups I had to go out twice and a co-worker once in 3 days before the city FINALLY said they would deliver to this patient. Just got a call from the nursing home, The health dept. never came this week! Yep, thats why I took out $30,000 in student loans at 46. To be a delivery boy.
