For children and families that also have autism, you will be interested in this exciting initiative: Autism Speaks Canada is launching in partnership with Samsung Canada, The Look at Me Project. Together, Samsung and Autism Speaks Canada, will be donating 200 Galaxy Tab S devices, preloaded with the Look at Me app to families with children with autism spectrum disorder across Canada. The app uses its camera function to encourage interaction between parents and their children to help build more powerful connections. Furthermore, The Look at Me Project is designed to create a shared community to connect families with similar experiences. This project hopes to facilitate meaningful connections between parents or caregivers and their children as well as foster connections between the 200 families selected. Were excited about The Look at Me Project and the potential that comes with access to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
