For discussion; Today I got to thinking, why are there no large heroin or Opium shipments being seized? The allegations against Mitch McConnells inlaws shipping business brought about the thought. So I then thought... if the media periodically puts out that Afghanistan is the world leader in Opium/ Heroin production (theyve surpassed Burma, which I noticed something else about, Ill get to later), and we have a heavy military presence... why is it being sold from that point? So then I remember reading that when the troops began to destroy the poppy fields, they stopped getting cooperation from the tribal leaders. They also saw the noticeable downturn in the lil bit of economy they had immediately.... Im sure you realize that C.R.E.A.M is the motto all over.. deals had to be done. So they are still growing the poppy and producing the heroin. So basically they either turn a blind eye towards it.... or some how sanction it to produce a viable product. This year the FDA made 2 moves... that help the Heroin business. A easy to use heroin antidote was approved and an extended release pain killer by the name of Zohydro.
