For everyone I didnt get to visit on this last trip, I want to let you know it wasnt because I didnt want to. And I apologize for not getting to do more. But I came specifically to help my daughter in law while my granddaughter had surgery. I had figured there would be time for visiting but the whole thing turned into a little more than we expected and I was needed there pretty much round the clock. Then, with the sub zero temperatures and the throwing up Buggum was doing, I just didnt poke my nose out the door more than I had to. Finally, when it came time for us to come home, I only had a small window of time to make the drive through the planned route home so I had to pack up and scoot. So again, Im sorry for everyone I didnt get to come see. The good news is, on the way home, I got to follow up on my plan to check out an area were thinking about moving to. I got to go through Ashland KY, meet my friend Miranda Mcculley and let Buggum meet his pen pal Morgan, and pick up some papers and other local information from that area. What I saw and what I picked up and read seems to reinforce the rightness of our plan to move there. Its as central to all of our family as we can get, has good employment opportunities for Jason, and KY has much better laws regarding farming and home schooling than either Ohio or West Virginia. Buggums big yee haw was there arent any fire ants! Miranda also told me a lot about the area and she said this winter was just crazy. The weather is normally much more stable and thats another big plus for us. So when spring shows its lovely face we plan to put the wheels in motion to move our farm. Thats going to be a huge undertaking but we feel it will be well worth it when were able to visit family and friends more often. So, even though Ive missed seeing many of you the last couple trips, dont fret. Youre soon going to get pestercated to pieces by little ol me! Love to all of you!
