For everyone waiting on printers to ship and/or replacement heat bed cables: I just got an update from the Robo team. They had been holding all printers pending correction of a technical issue. Im expecting a message to go out to everyone waiting on a printer, in the forum, and hopefully we can reference it here as well. If you get something by email, please share it here for others that are waiting. FWIW, Despite less than stellar updates, I think the team really is doing the right thing here. Yeah, they havent communicated so well, but rather than just continuing to ship a problem printer, they are stopping to fix it. Compare this to Makerbot. The Rep1 had at least two significant flaws that impacted nearly all owners that they ignored through its entire life, the Rep2 had a motor cable that they essentially just ignored for an extended period of time, and the extruder on the 5th gen just flat out doesnt work. Yet in all cases, they continued to ship. Not saying that is where Robo should have the bar at, but its an indicator that theyre trying to do the right thing relative to their peers.
