For five weeks I have been in bed as I was not able to put weight on the foot or walk. I have been outside a total of four times in those 5 weeks. I had the stomach flu for three and this bronchial/congestion for four. My youngest was amazing at cleaning up after my vomit; my oldest cleaned and washed my bedding every other day. My husband bowed to every food craving I had that sounded good at the time...and then rubbed my back when it just didnt stick. And now we are on the way to hopefully get this cast off and try out the new foot and have a date day. The sunshine is glorious and Im actually hungry. Heres to a great day and for things to be on the upswing.
