For heavens sake… fed up with all the negativity on Facebook (oops, there goes some more). After all the operas you hate on Opera Talk, the arch moaner Norman Lebrecht wants your list of 10 pieces or composers you never want to hear again… and now the bloody Guardian has Nick Hornbys list of novels you couldnt finish. Feel sad for all these people gleefully closing the door on so many potential glories and treasures. And in the end, who cares? The composers/authors and their works arent affected by what *you* think of them. Its your loss. Just open your hearts and minds to all possibilities! You might get a lovely surprise.
