For if I BUILD AGAIN the THINGS which I DESTROYED, I MAKE MYSELF a TRANSGRESSOR (Galatians 2:18)… We in Christ must get out of the HABIT of BLAMING anything and EVERY THING ELSE for our STUMBLINGS, TRANSGRESSIONS, and SINS. Too often we’re QUICK to ATTRIBUTE our MESSES to the WORLD, the FLESH, and the DEVIL, when we KNOW good and well that WE are the SOLE BLAME for our own FALL and FALLING. No one nor no thing else MADE us DO what we DID to WALK OUTSIDE of God’s WILL; no one nor no thing MADE us VIOLATE God’s Word when we COMMITTED that SIN we committed; no one nor no thing MADE us BACKSLIDE back into the MIRE of the WORLD; and no one nor no thing PREVENTED us from being WITNESSES for Jesus Christ when we KNOW He has COMMANDED us to BE such! No doubt we all have SHORTCOMINGS, WEAKNESSES, and FEARS. But not even THEY are RESPONSIBLE for our DISOBEDIENCE and FAITHFULNESS where God and SPIRITUAL THINGS are concerned. WE ALONE are the TRANSGRESSORS – our own WORST ENEMY if we CHOOSE to DO what we KNOW we OUGHT NOT do. Let us therefore, THANK and PRAISE God for GRACE, MERCY and FORGIVENESS should we STUMBLE or FALL; but let us also ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY that it was OURSELVES that put us there – OUR ACTIONS - NOT someone else, NOR some thing else!!!
