For many of you who have dealt with Comcasts current version of (ahem) customer service, this probably isnt news. Sadly, this crap is not exactly a new revelation. Fun fact - in 2006, my job search took me to Comcast in search of a customer service rep. I consider myself to be better than average in regards to technical know-how in regards to the services Comcast provides, and I mistakenly thought Comcast would see this and take advantage of this potential asset. Not only were they disinterested in my technical acumen and embracing of the customer service aspect of my job, but they flat out refused to progress me any further due to my lack of trying to sell products to EVERY single customer who called in, no matter for what issue. I could rant for days on their policies and procedures, then (at least they were still largely locally based) and now...
