For many years I wanted to know "why" of various things. Today I understand that God loves us so much and is helping us to learn what faith is by not explaining everything. For Job, in the Old Testament, he is portrayed as a wealthy man of upright character who loves God. Yet God allows Satan to destroy his flocks, his possessions, his children, and his health. Job refused to give up on God, even though he does not understand why this is happening to him. We, too, have a choice to trust God when we do not understand the difficulties we face at times in life.
