For me, Social Media has been a Godsend! When Im not well enough to get out, I still feel connected. But conversely, none of my children are on their phones, computers, etc. much. Yes we have an X-box, WII, but they rarely are used. My 11 & 12 year old could care less about Social Media and now they both have their own phones, which of course I monitor, 99% of texts are from Family, a little less with Jonathan Mains, but its still the bulk. My kids like to play, no theyre not the norm or what goes for the norm now a days. They are ALL probably childish by todays standards. Thank God I did something right ( ;
