For me, a little piece of heaven still exists, in a little place in Maine. Its called Forest City. My most memorable summer was when I worked at Wheatons Lodge, and my bro , John, was a Maine guide. We lived on an island. No running water, or electricity, About 3 or 4 miles from the lodge. We listened to Bruce tapes at night, as we cooked dinner, under lantern light. I got bored one day, and swam the whole way back to the island, at the end of my work day at the lodge. I was a fish in the water. My bro had a fit, of course, when he heard I swam home. Lol. Awesome times. I cant wait to go back.
