For me, that nervous feeling I get right before Im about to be announced on stage is priceless. I dont want to do this anymore if I stop getting that. I love that its sink or swim. Are you going to get up there and perform to your shoe-laces or are you going to do what youre there to do - entertain. Anyone can get up and recite their song. Ive performed in front of a crowd of 180,000 and Ive performed in front of 5 people in an empty nightclub - still gotta bring it and you should quit if you dont. I remember my 3rd performance ever was in front of 4,000 people at The Edges Winter Jam and Patriarch gave me the mic and pretty much said You gon learn today lol and I definitely did. Come a long way since that boy who use to almost vomit when it was his turn to do his speech in front of the class. Ive still got so much to learn, I hope all aspiring artists develop that same passion for the live aspect of their craft, Im all about it.
