For me this is a heart wrenching song that I go to whenever I am in need of a good cry. This real sadness was a frequent scene that took place in the Gaza strip. I am not ashamed to speak of the actual tears that I have produced because of this horrific reality. Sting is so incredibly descriptive & captured a glimpse at this unfortunate reaccuring incident that took place in the 1980s. Thier men would come up missing. Taking by a destructive government that would torture them to the point of death. The only protest the women were allowed was to dance in the streets with pictures pinned to their dresses. They would dance alone and weep.
