For months, Adam and I have been fervently praying that God will direct our lives according to His will and that the desires of our own hearts will match what He has for us. This morning, we received some wonderful, life-changing news and I want to give all the glory to Him. Praise God that we are able to walk in His perfect will! God is so good, you guys. Always. Prayer works and the words of the Bible are trustworthy and true. Ive been meditating on this Scripture for months: Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:4-7 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. ~1 John 5:14-15 Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. ~Psalm 37: 4 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ~Mark 11:24
