For my Irish friends, I just had a thought;If you ever find yourself in trouble with the law, say for something like not paying your Theft Tax (Property tax) Say to the judge that you wish, in accordance with Article 1 of our constitution which states. "The Irish nation hereby affirms its inalienable, indefeasible, and sovereign right to choose its own form of Government, to determine its relations with other nations, and to develop its life, political, economic and cultural, in accordance with its own genius and traditions." That you be tried by a Brehon law as was the Custom and tradition in Eire long before the Foreign court system now in use. ... Tell them that you do not recognise the authority of the court because it is not in accordance with our customs and is the produce of "Foreign Genius and Traditions". As such it is NOT a product of own "genius and traditions." but inherited from our old Colonial masters and as such is as Alien to the Irish people, their traditions and their culture, as "The Stranger" was;) I might just go home and punch Enda Kenny in the face just to try out the theory :P
