For my Parker friends, particularly those with experience at Camp Joseph in southern Colorado: I spent most of the day on a service project at Heber Valley Camp, the LDS girls camp for some 50 stakes in Utah County. It covers 8600 acres of (gorgeous) mountain terrain and has eight (8) separate camps within its boundaries, each with its own restrooms, pavilion, amphitheater, cabins(!), and so on. During the summer months, it has 75 senior missionary couples serving full-time to maintain and run the camp. It even has its own wastewater processing facility, as well as a large maintenance building with a woodshop, metal shop, mechanics bay, and so on. All in all, a remarkable facility.
