For my friends in Ukraine and Moldova. The taking of Crimea in Ukraine is just the second part of the puzzle by Putin. First, a few years ago Russia created a new country by taking part of Moldova. This new country is called Transnistria and is very pro-Russian. No one said a word. This country is approximately 6 miles wide and 112 miles long. It follows a major river called Dimestr which flows into the Black Sea, thus they control the shipping of the Black Sea. This river and the new country of Transnistria forms the border between Ukraine and Moldova. Now, Russia not only has Crimea but now reaches into the heart of Ukraine thru the river and this new country. Moldova is so weak that a platoon could capture it. To the north Russia already has Belarus. After Moldova, Romania would fall next.
