For my friends outside (and inside) of Alabama, this is the extent of how blatantly shady and downright evil the corruption in this state too often is. No one is really even arguing the fact that the UAB football program was essentially being held hostage by the University of Alabama Board of Trustees. A board headed by Paul Little Bear Bryant Jr. It was always their clear intent that the Tuscaloosa team be the only show in town when it came to Alabama system football. Articles like this are important to show that these dirty games played by the powers that be have a cost. The investments of donors, the effort from staff, but most importantly the lives of students.
