For my new job (and Im not complaining about having a job, I know many others dont) Im forced to use something called New Innovations which is neither New nor Innovative. Its so slow I may as well use dial-up to access it. You know, where you are forced to watch a little processing icon slowly move, but it doesnt quite take so long that you could do anything useful during the down time. Its so half fast. In fact I feel like could use one of those modems where you used to stick a phone into a foam cradle and I think it would still run at the same rate. I get the impression the prior person in this position wasnt comfortable with technology and was fine with this speed. You wouldnt believe the paper files and illegible handwritten information left here. I accidentally clicked on feeling nostalgic and since there isnt an icon for exactly what Im feeling, that seems good enough.
