For my rowdy friends I was a truck driver for more than 20 years.I have over a million miles on the road .I thought I would share some experience with other drivers about winter driving . 1 if at all possible dont drive in bad weather 2 if its icy or snowing take your time do not rush 3 no matter what vehicle you drive or what tires you use it will not help you on ice or snow 4 its all about momentum on ice do not suddenly brake use acceleration to control your speed slow down early accelerate slowly 5 give your self plenty of distance from the car in front of you to give you more reaction time 6 if you lose control dont panic be calm and stay of the break 7 take your time drive defensively and concentrate on driving not texting or other distractions 8 drive using all your senses 9 its sounds funny but drive with your butt .all movement your car makes youll feel first with your butt react accordingly
