For my runners Running through life has so much in common with running a few miles to better your health. We take off knowing where we want to finish. We visualize the end result. We prep ourselves with the things necessary to have a good run. During that run we find ourselves. During that run we get stopped by traffic/ people get in our path. During that run we face the hardiest part of finishing.... THE ELEVATION. Weve ran over a few hills that slowed us down but this elevation is the true test.. The test that comes right after a long run and so many small hills have already weaken you. So what do you do? Slow down? Turn around? Cry about the incline? Relax a minute before going after it? NO WAY.... You already became your destination by visualizing it! Now become the hill!!! Full sprint knowing the hill will soon end and youll stand on top knowing that nothing could stop you... NOTHING!!!
