For myself and my family, Sunday is a day of reflection and giving thanks to others. This day is unique; many of us on the #beachbody cruise experienced significant stress through flight delays and cancellations- en route to getting back to our loved ones. As we waited in line yesterday to board, with people angry, screaming at agents, etc. I looked back at the couple behind us in line and said, You know, flight delays allow people in airport terminals to talk to each other and get to know one another. For instance, I know the couple behind us lives in Pittsburgh and, although they will reach Charlotte, they will not be able to get a flight back home until Monday. The only thing that can offer relief in times of increasing stress (like waiting to board a delayed plane) is face to face communication. Not texting, not emails, not video chat. Real expressions, real voices, real people. It was a blessing that we were able to make that couple smile through chit chat. I give thanks to that couple for lending me their ears, the nice guy in Jamba Juice who mixed my #Shakeology strawberry dinner for me free of charge 🙏 -fuel as we were sprinting through Charlotte airport-.., and last but certainly not least, to Brooke Dorsett for putting up with my blabbering in line 😘 (and for being the best other half a guy could ask for)💪🙏👍😁😘💎👫.
