For once I have little words to express the waves that came suddenly and consistently today. I felt pulled under all day long, disoriented, cut off from breath, tossed about, smashed against the rocks of grief over and over. Im disappointed at what feels like a setback in moving forward, but there it is. And there it was. An incredibly hard day. But I will put my head on my pillow now and sleep. I will pray before I do words of gratitude for people who held me up today. And I will wake up tomorrow and move forward again, however imperceptibly small the measurements seem to be.
