For once in my life I am actually proud of myself. Very proud! I have found a sense of accomplishment I never thought possible. It is personal success, in the sense that i am spiritually wealthy from single-handedly starting up from nothing my own small leathercraft enterprise. It started as just a need to make myself a leather cuff that I could not find anywhere for a sensible price, then I made another, and another, getting better and learning more as I went along. Finding an international online community of likeminded artisans and home hobbyists has been the greatest treasure, and without whom I would have not sold a single item. I can smile now and feel a strong sense of personal accomplishment for making this work and working hard and diligently, even through my annual holiday break without having a holiday to create the best possible items that I can. If I left this world tomorrow NO ONE could ever say that I achieved nothing, especially a narcissistic critical mother, and father who have both only had a terribly low opinion of me and everything I have ever done, or in their view Not done. That means a lot to me that I can finally throw all their negativity back at them, and challenge them to find any more criticisms from what I have achieved. Screw them, I am a success.
