For one to become Muslim/Submitter surrender himself/herself to his/her creator, one must believe in all of the tenets below. and when he/she does, then they declare their faith openly when theyre ready; and the decleration is bearing witness that ; Decleration/Shahada; There is no God but God/Allah alone. And Muhammad is Gods messenger. when somebody accepts and does that, they have accepted Islam and the tenets of the 5 pillars of Islam below is applicable to them. The 6 pillars of belief/Iman are; 1- Belief in God/Allah . 2- Belief in Gods Angels. 3- Belief in Gods messengers/prophets. 4- Belief in Gods direct revelations/books. 5- Belief in the day of judgement. 6- Belief in pre ordained destiny whether good or bad. . The 5 Pillars of Islam are . 1-There is no God but God/Allah alone. 2- prayer 5 times daily. 3- fast the month of Ramadan. 4- pay zakat/ compulsary charity once a year 5- visit mecca once a life time .
