For our 299th different place for breakfast, Bob drove to the Chef - TopicsExpress

For our 299th different place for breakfast, Bob drove to the Chef Diner (https://facebook/pages/The-Chef-Diner/100872619957554) in Richfield Sprins, NY. Its a nice little place in the middle of the village. No spillage again today, at least in the diner....but more on that later, as the waitress delivered Bobs tea already in the cup. We ordered the usual. When I ordered sausage the waitress asked links or patties? I asked what she recommended and she said I hate sausage, Im a bacon kind of girl. So Bob has a new friend and I ordered the patties. And Im glad I did. They looked like the normal frozen patties but had a nice peppery taste. The eggs were nice and buttery, but Bobs had one broken yolk. Bob said his bacon was delicious. The home fries were plentiful and loaded with onions. The were done perfectly and tasted outstanding. Our ride home was interesting. Bob always brings a bottle of water for the trip. As we get near exit 5 of the Northway getting off the Latham exit, I heard a little choking sound. I look at Bob driving and he has a handkerchief to his mouth trying to hold back the water that is overflowing over his hand and on to his lap. It was kind of like self-induced water boarding. The car hit a little dip as he was drinking and most went down the wrong pipe. For a minute of so I didnt know if he would make #300, as he was choking and coughing while driving. I was really close to grabbing the wheel. But then again when hes driving I usually want to grab the wheel at some point in the trip. By the time we got to his house he was fine. Most of the water from his lungs was either on his lap or out the window in the road. The bill came in at $15.71 and with the quality of the meal it gets the wallet friendly designation. See you next time for #300.
