For our D Squad Boys and Coaches..... Our deepest fear is not - TopicsExpress

For our D Squad Boys and Coaches..... Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. Our beloved Dirty Dawgs, Your brilliant light shone upon the entire league this season and taught us all the meaning of unity in the face of adversity. You made us all believe that anything can happen. There were so many obstacles thrown in your way starting way back with Week 1 and you not only refused to be beaten down but in fact rose to each and every challenge like the true Sachems that you are. You showed us all heart, courage and resilience. These Gridiron Gladiators refused to be beaten no matter how great the odds. When one of your team mates went down there was always someone else there to pick them up. I think back on this rag tag, dirty faced and quirky bunch of 28 boys that showed up on August 1st and can not believe how far you have come but more so how far you will go both on and off the field. I watched you grow from boys to fine young men. More importantly we would not be where we are without the dedicated and caring coaching staff..Thomas Falasca, Christofer Falasca, Chris McColgan, Kevin Andrews, Mike Michael Kenny, Sean Cummings, and Shane Ronan, you have shown our boys the true meaning of teamwork, loyalty and perseverance. You made us all believe that the impossible can happen. But most importantly you made our boys laugh...from lipstick to boas to tiaras..it was always about our boys first and foremost, winning was secondary. You allowed them to shine and shine they did!!! To our team Mom, Jen Falasca, thank you for balancing work, your own children and for taking care of 28 of the most energetic boys this league has seen and will see for a long time. Your Conga bars and brownies rock and so do you!!! We love you. So, we once again we hold up our helmets in salute to the Dirty D Dawgs, our hometown favorites who have given us some of the most exciting games of football this league will ever see! You are powerful beyond measure and we could not be more proud of everything you have accomplished. You are our heart and our heroes!! With this being said...thanks for taking us all on this ride...because as we all know: Its a family thing.....!!!! Love to you all, Liz
