For our English-speaking customers, friends and supporters: universal design needs strength, endurance and strategically valuable, experienced partners. Starting from 1 July, 2013, there will be a new alliance with this purpose in mind that will support and further develop its role-model function. On its 60th anniversary, iF e.V., one of the most renowned design organizations in the world, devotes its efforts to one of the most important challenges of the next decades. The strategy of universal design is considered as one of the most global holistic approaches to design, and rightly so. The founders of universal design are happy to welcome a new company to the group: iF - UNIVERSAL DESIGN + SERVICE with its head offices in Munich, which will assume responsibility for all the universal design GmbH tasks, competitions and events. For customers, friends and partners of universal design in the fields of design, architecture, manufacturing and science, this is another opportunity to play an important role in shaping the demographic shift in strategic alliances. We are particularly happy to accept the invitation of the iF e.V. Management Board to place the contents of universal design on a trusted, even more competent foundation as an independent working group within the association and to delve more deeply into the international aspects in particular. We look forward to working together with you to tackle new challenges, projects and formats.
