For our TART meeting on the Itchen today I decided, along with the cane and pin, I would add a video camera to the landing net, I managed to get one small grayling and loose a bigger one before taking to the water to try the chest waders that santa brought me, and managed to catch my first decent Grayling, and a better one than before by a country mile, or at least a pound and a quarter at least ;) Ended the day with 5 Grayling, a trout and half a dozen salmon parr. Many thanks to Ally Jane Minter for the cake and to Matthew Minter, Damon Godman, Colin Culley and Kevin Attwood, who unfortunately missed the cake, Need to plan better next time, sort out phone numbers etc. Also Nice to meet a fellow TFF forum member, Chub man, who although does not join us here on facebook Im hoping will be part of a future Chub fishing TART day later in the year, and by then i hope to learn how to use the camera better instead of leaving it on to flatten the battery after the first film, having to recharge it missing most of the days fishing and getting only one good clip to show, then forgetting to show the fish to the camera properly before letting it go, oh well we cant all be Chris Yates in PFA, but there was no lack of Passion for our particular brand of TART fishing today, It may have started , but the weather couldnt dampen our spirits, and in the end the sun shone through :)
