For our friends and family unable to attend Kennys memorial I wanted to post this picture of the front of the church during the memorial. (I just got them today). My good friend Janet Flores as well as Heather Apkarian (with friends) handled everything that had to do with making the memorial beautiful and meaningful in appearancel. The tables in the family center were similarly decorated with items that were reminiscent of being in a beautiful forest. I wish I had pictures of this to show as well. The thought and care that went into this has been one of the many many acts of kindness that has sustained and carried me through this time. When Janet went back into the sanctuary later to retrieve the arrangement, the sanctuary was dark the the image you see were all that was visible in the room. The round picture is the stained glass image that you see washed out in the second picture, and the image of Kenny on the right was the picture of him that was projected on the screen during the service. When the service was over, the projector was left on and it got dark in the room, showing just the lighted window and Kens picture. Meant a lot to this mothers heart
