For people who dont know me my mothers family name is White! We are descended form Weisskopf , Russian Jewish family who were persecuted and forced out of Russia in the 1890s. My grandfather Joseph White (family name Weisskopf ) who served in the REME in the British Army fought and survived WW2 also my other grandfather Joe Woodward served in the merchant Navy in WW2 and survived (both deceased now) I pay tribute to you both for I may not be here now if not for your brave actions on this day 70 years! Sorry had to get it of my chest as I am welling up with a tear in my eye watching the veterans and how humble they are!! Youngsters of today who think the are big and clever and poke fingers up at the old and the police and have no respect!!! If it was not for your grandparents you could not act like you do and would probably shit your pants if you had to do what they did 70 years ago. God bless those who never came back! Your names will never be forgotten. Sorry if this offends you but TOUGH!!!!! You know where the unfriend button is!!
