For recreational purposes only!? How effing stupid do you have to be! Normally, I wouldnt say this to people I dont know but, since there are millions of women like me and hundreds of reasons why a woman may require a specific form of birth control for treatment of something...Ill just go ahead and put it out there. I can conceive a child. Due to other medical reasons however, I 1) can NOT be pregnant. It would be irresponsible (knowing what I know and going through what I am) it would risk the babys life and my health. and 2) I cannot take estrogen (again, for medical reasons). Millions of women are in the same exact position, just for different reasons than my own. And those that arent-still have every right to decide when and IF they want to have a child. I dont care if youre married or not. That should have nothing to do with it. I know many married couples who simply do not want to have children anytime soon, or at all. It may be for financial reasons, medical reasons, the crazy world we live in....it doesnt matter! If you dont want to become pregnant then thats the end of the conversation. They fail to understand so many things...especially medical reasons/needs that its beyond scary. Its terrifying. They side step all the logical reasoning by simple shaming women and implying that all women who care about this issue or who are on birthcontrol, are sluts! Its beyond ignorance-cuz the facts and recommendations of prominent doctors and scientists are there...its just straight up stupidity-willful ingnorance. Lets ignore all the facts and just shove religious rhetoric where we want....seems to be the theme.
