For sale: Quiet!!!! trail riding horse. Bazz is a 15hh, 9 year old standard bred, who was trialed but never raced due to being too slow. He is a gentle big boy who is willing to please. I am selling him as a trail horse as he is quiet lazy, so enjoys easy going trail rides. He will trot when asked and can be pushed into the canter however due to him being really lazy it does take some leg pressure and pushing to get him to do both of these things. He is not a horse that feels the need to be moving quickly, he is more than happy to plod along at a slow comfortable pace. He is a horse that wants to please and will try anything that you ask of him. He has been ridden along the road, past trucks, through thick bush, up sand dunes, and has been swam in the creek all with no problems. He gets along fine with other horses, and dogs, he has also been paddocked alone just fine. He is great to catch, saddle, wash/hose and loves attention!!! He will follow you around the paddock wanting a pat or will stand there all day just to be brushed. No nasty habits at all. No kick, bite, buck, bolt ect. He has been ridden by beginner riders and young kids, however I would only sell to a beginner rider if he was going to an experienced horsey home, where the beginner would have guidance in pushing him along and assistance if needed.
