For several days we have been watching the nightly weather report warning than the monsoons were coming but they did not until it stared raining last night and continued all night and into the morning hours. It was actually chilly on our back porch as we watched the quail and rabbits and other flowers. In our four years of coming out here this is the first big rain we have experienced. Fortunately, we do not have a basement to collect water. We went to church yesterday and then out to some friends for dinner last night. So far all has gone well and we will not be back to Illinois until Spring to buy a condo and move our stuff out of storage UNLESS CASEY COMES HOME AT CHRISTMAS AND HAS A WEDDING.
