For several weeks, the empmployees of the MarketBasket have been protesting the firing of their beloved boss, Arthur T Demoulas by his cousin Arthur S Demoulas & his half of the family. Arthur T did a really great job of running MarkeBasket. The prices were really low and affordable, especially for those on fixed incomes. Arthur S and his family took control of MarketBasket, a nice 71 store chain of supermarkets in at least 3 New England states. Arthur Ss half of the family, out of corporate greed, want to sell MarketBasket in whole to another major supermarket chain. What, I see, is that Arthur S & his bunch have mismanaged MarketBasket by firing Artie T, the employees of the chain left their jobs in protest, and customers are boycotting MarketBasket, as well, causing business to drop by 90%. Its Arthur S & his familys fault, directly & indirectly, that threatens to force the company into bankruptcy. Latest blunder of theirs, was to layoff all the part-time workers. This situation gotten way out of hand. Im thinking now, everyone, employees & customers impacted by this, should file one big class action lawsuit against Arthur S & his family, forcing them to reinstate Arthur T as CEO, put his offer at the top of the list, reinstate all fired workers, sue them for lost business, for employees lost wages. The only way ArthurS & his half the family could avoid a lawsuit, is to bring back Arthur T & the employees, and pay for losses suffered by the company, employees & customers. This is my instinct on the MarketBasket fiasco. Donald Franklin.
