For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” (Mark 5:28) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy (Gods grace). That we may rejoice and be glad all our days! (Psalms 90:12, 14) For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10) Perhaps you are facing an impossibly hopeless situation in your life. Maybe you are struggling with a debilitating sickness, marital situation, financial crisis, or prolonged challenge. In the natural, the future looks dismal and there appears to be no reason to hope. If that is you, I want to encourage you to believe that you can experience breakthrough. You cannot believe right unless you are hearing right. What you hear is vital. If you are believing God for a breakthrough in your life, pay attention to what you are listening to. Are you hearing the good news of Jesus? Are you filled with an empowering sense of who Jesus is in your life and everything He has done for you at the cross? When you believe that Jesus sees you as someone precious, as someone He loves personally, intimately and infinitely and see His love, grace, and goodness toward you, it will build hope in your heart. When your heart is filled with hope through a personal relationship with Jesus, youll reach out in faith and receive your miracle and freedom from your loving Savior! Faith indeed comes by hearing and hearing the good news of Christ! Make listening to the good news of Jesus a daily priority. Dont underestimate the power of hearing about Jesus just because it sounds simple. Before you do anything, start the day with Jesus and be satisfied with His grace. God doesnt want us to have rigid rituals with Him. In the new covenant, He is more interested in having a relationship with us. Have a joyful, positive, confident expectation of good because there are many good days ahead of you....days of blessings, days of favor, and days of great grace. Overcome every wrong believing by plugging in and hearing about the good news of Jesus. Hope will come flooding in even when everything around you seems hopeless. when you hear right, you will start to believe right! Thank you, Father God, that one day in your grace, is equivalent to a thousand days of striving by our own efforts. Amen.
