For some clarity I will repost my earlier comment about the posting of school photos to this page , I am not banning the practice but I want people to understand what has been the problem: When this group started a member went to all the local school pages and copied all the photos and reposted over 50 photos here on this site , once everyone began the guess who is who posts the page became clogged with a continuous feed of school pics whenever somebody posted a name or comment. I feel that if you are to post a school photo you should at least be in the actual photo and really you are robbing the dedicated school pages made by other people of input , those pages are for that purpose , this one is not a school page. Also some people are not comfortable with having a photo of themselves posted on the internet without their permission so it becomes a privacy matter Due to the limitations of this group format I cannot properly organise folders of school pics into the catergories that I would like and it has become a messy affair , people who only use smart phones to view the page have limited access to some functions or refuse to spend a minute learning how to navigate properly with their device which again causes some minor problems I am aware we have lots of older members and new users who find Facebook confusing at the best of times and try to accommodate to everyones needs , but I dont have hours to monitor this group 24/7 and want it to be a pleasurable experience for all I hope this can partially explain my actions , I am not in this to boost my ego or win some competition of gaining Likes my family has a great history of helping the community with my parents involvement in the local scouting groups in the 70s , my father helped establish the Peninsula Swans AFL club in the 80s , my mother patched a lot of you kids up when she was first aid lady at Umina High School , and I love my town and want to share what I have learnt in my quest for knowledge about this place that people call Mt Druitt by the sea as we all know it has more roots that a knotty old gum tree
