For some days now, I have been perturbed by the sad stories coming out of the Our Fathers House; The House Of Prayer in Brazil, Kenya and South Africa. As I continued to contend for our faith and worry about the body of Christ, today the Lord took me to His word and reminded me of the exhortation of Apostles Jude and Paul and His Beloved Son Jesus. Firstly, let us examine the exhortation of Apostle Jude. Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lewdness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:16 -19 These are grumblers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 How they told you there would be mockers in the last time, who would walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are, sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. Hmmm, I heaved a sigh of relief, praising God and giving glory to His name, knowing and convinced that all scriptures are truly inspired by God through the help of the Holy Spirit. Apostle Jude must be speaking about the Ungodly Man in Kenya promising miracle marriages for single ladies in his Church. Yes, He must be speaking about the Ungodly Man in Brazil promising miracle babies to married women in his Church and the Ungodly Man in South Africa who fed his congregation with grass. Immediately I got to this verse, my worries began to vanish till I got to the end to the epistle of Jude. Jude 1: 20 - 23 But ye, beloved, build up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Apostle Jude did not leave it there, he gave us a charge (duty) to look out for the lost brethren who these ungodly men have made to stumble and bring them back to the right path. Jude 1: 22 -23 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. To be continued
