For some months now, my church has been planning a camping trip for this coming Friday-Sunday. 70 some people will be going. Micah-Ray and I have been so excited to do this together and weve been collecting our camping items just waiting for this weekend. His teacher at school has told me how much hes talked about it. However; a week ago this past Monday; I got hit with several unexpected medical issues that I never saw coming. Still walking those out and dealing with them. Yesterday, it became evident that Ill need to stay close to home for awhile so I know that the camping trip for Micah-Ray and I is no more. It took me awhile to accept the wisdom to not go. He has no idea and is still expecting to go. I have to tell him today that we cant and I dont like that I have to do this or see his disappointment. Just one of those tough life issues. Hell overcome as he always does. Just praying for great grace on it all and for myself and Micah-Ray as he wont be able to fully understand it all. One of those hard momma moments. In the midst of these light afflictions, I have so much to thank the Lord for; whether good times or bad times GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!! And this sweet video just makes me smile!!
