For some reason I cant make any comments on one of Tinas posts. Maybe she blocked me before she was walked out the door, I dont know. There is something I would like to address, however. Penelope made a comment on something Id noticed myself. Tina bragged about being one of the anointed and even strongly suggested that I not correct her because of that. Penelope pointed out that the anointed do not brag about being such and for the forty some odd years that I was an active witness this was my experience as well. Another comment was made about the GB. They are all of the anointed but they dont brag about that or about being on the GB. Ive spoken to some of the GB members over the years and I found them to be quite humble. Now David has been closely acquainted with some of the GB and he could perhaps give us his impression of those he knew. These men are not sadistic, blood thirsty, villains out to wreak havoc on the members. This is perhaps the hardest thing for former JWs to understand just like the fact that not all former JWs are immoral, evil demons out to destroy their family and friends that remain in the organization is so hard for JWs to understand. So here we see people on both sides of the fence casting stones at one another and thats sad. Let me conclude this with my own personal opinion and PLEASE do not use this as an opening to vent your anger on the leadership of JWs. Okay? Im thanking you in advance for your cooperation on this. The blame for this animosity of both sides rests squarely on the leadership and its policies ...not on ANY individual GB member, Elder, or publisher.
